Sidney Williams

Congratulations to Sidney Williams for receiving the Asofsky Foundation's Leaders 4 Life Fellowship award from Mark Asofsky of the Asofky Family Foundation!

In December, Sidney was surprised with this honor at a celebration at Interlachen Jr-Sr High School where she is a senior. The event scheduled for the Asofsky family to present all awards was cancelled due to COVID-19. Therefore, the family traveled to Putnam County to present her the award earlier today.

The mission of the Leaders for Life Fellowship is to enable highly motivated Take Stock in Children scholars by providing the resources that will empower them to develop their full potential. Becoming a Leader for Life Fellow represents the culmination of these resources to inspire and develop future leaders in our communities and society.

The Leaders for Life Fellowship has benefits and can include a new laptop computer, leadership training, and professional development. L4L Fellows who choose to attend 4-year public universities in Florida will also receive funding up to $10,000 per year. The L4L Fellowship is designed to provide unmet needs or expenses not covered by FL Prepaid, Pell Grants, Bright Futures, University Awards, or other private scholarships and grants.

PCSD is proud of you, Sidney!
